Rave Master (also called Groove Adventure Rave or simply Rave in Japan) is a previous manga of the author of Fairy Tail, Hiro Mashima, which ran in Weekly Shonen Magazine from 1999 to 2005. Hi guys, I just started reading Rave Master recently! I'm really into it, up to chapter 143, but I've just run into the same problem I have had around 1 or 2 other times in this manga.. The basic premise seems so simple and dull but RAVE Master truly shows that what is truly important isnt the premise but the execution, which, imo, it does it masterfully. The romance actually gets build up well, the ending is nice and imo (others maybe dont like it) a deserved well-done ending. Steve717.

Generally people that dislike some of Mashima's other work such as Fairy Tail don't find the same issues in Rave Master. Apparently the ending of Rave Master pissed people off so much that people were sending death threats to Mashima. That's why he made the epilogue chapter and vowed to never do that again, hence the lack of deaths in Fairy Tail. 2. that's what I am wondering myself too.. Guess he throw everything on Rave Master.
